SUMMARY
White Glove Services is for the transportation of high-value products which require product inspection and on-site installation, we offer white-glove services throughout Canada with clients in the Financial, Technology, Retail and Healthcare sectors. We are looking for a flexible driver to meet changing operational demands. This role requires availability for varying hours, including some weekends. Candidates must be willing to complete out-of-town and overnight runs, with routes covering Alberta, Saskatchewan, Northern BC and the Territories..
We are looking for a professional with Class 5 licenses and experience driving 5-Ton Trucks for deliveries local and out of town.
SHIFT: Monday to Friday 7am-3:30pm (Overtime may be required)
Pay rate: $27.00 an hour
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform unpacking, assembly/disassembly, installation/removal and delivery of high value equipment.
- Interact directly with customers and provide functional demo of equipment.
- Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly
- Provide consistent on-time pickup and delivery service performance
- Demonstrate safe and efficient driving skills
- Portray a professional image as a representative of White Glove Services.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service through interactions with customers
- Work in a safe manner and adhere to safe working procedures.
- Maintain an organized and clean environment
- Perform other general duties as assigned by Management
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Class 5 driver license
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience required
- Must have experience driving a 5-ton truck
- Clean Drivers’ Abstract and able to complete a Criminal Record Background Check
- Previous experience with handling high end commercial electronics i.e. Printers, photo copiers, bank machines, is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. as needed
- Comfortable using hand tools such as wrenches, screw drivers, power drills etc.
- Positive attitude, flexible and adaptable, high energy, and self-motivated
- Highly customer focused with the ability to exceed expectations
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Must have strong navigational skills & excellent knowledge of local streets and highway system for the lower mainland Area
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
