Position: Sanitation Worker (Evening Shift)
Location: Smith's Quality Meats
Shift Hours:
Evening Shift: 3:30 pm to Midnight, Monday through Friday
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team on the evening shift. In this role, you will be crucial in maintaining a clean and safe environment within our federally inspected meat processing facility. Your adherence to sanitation procedures will help uphold the highest cleanliness standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning and sanitation of equipment and facilities according to established protocols.
- Maintain all areas of the plant to meet strict cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Follow all safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
- Operate cleaning equipment and handle chemicals in a safe and effective manner.
- Comply with safe work practices and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in cleaning food processing establishments is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow sanitation protocols.
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended period.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to upholding sanitation and safety standards.
- WHMIS training is a plus.
