We are seeking a Administrative and IT Assistant on behalf of a well-established and respected national, top-tier law firm. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and client-focused team in a role that serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors while providing essential administrative support to the firm.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and technical skills, enjoy working in a fast-paced professional environment, and take pride in delivering exceptional client experiences. This role offers a diverse mix of reception, facilities, and technical support responsibilities within a supportive and team-oriented workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and visitors, answer incoming calls, and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Coordinate meeting rooms and assist with scheduling appointments.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, courier packages, emails, and document distribution.
- Work with national IT team to support local Audio-Visual (A/V) technical support and IT related issues.
- Assist the legal team with various tasks such as searches, file organization, travel and meeting arrangements.
- Other administrative duties as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role in a professional services environment.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Experience scheduling multiple calendars and managing competing priorities.
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- A proactive, positive team player who remains calm under pressure and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
- Knowledge of legal procedures or court rules is considered an asset but a willingness to learn is equally valued.
- Able to work in office full-time.
Compensation & Benefits

- Salary range of approximately $50,000 - $70,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
