'Asian Cook' position based in Port Hope offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your talent. You will oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality food preparation, and uphold food safety standards to deliver an exceptional dining experience aligned with our vibrant Vietnamese culture.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs.
- Enforce food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Train and develop kitchen team members.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Support the implementation of new menu items and culinary innovations.
- Qualifications
- Have worked in Vietnamese Restaurant for 2-3 year prior.
- Proven supervising and team management experience in a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff.
- Experience in restaurant management and kitchen operations.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Mexican cuisine is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Food handling certification is preferred.
