DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:
- Multi task the Grill/Kitchen areas of restaurant
- Stock replenishing and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Fast and efficient customer service and maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times
- Preparation of all grilled foods
- Preparing and displaying food counters in accordance with the basic food handling and hygiene practices
- Ensuring all dishes and utensils are clean to serve food to include own working area
- Ensuring that food is handled in the appropriate manner and free from bacteria that may cause food poisoning
- Checking use-by dates and ensure that food is used by the specified date
- Providing a fast and efficient customer service and maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times
- Serving and dealing with customers in kitchen/grill department in a courteous and efficient manner
- Developing and maintaining an excellent working relationship with management supervisors and other staff members
- Ensuring all goods/products are stored in a logical orderly fashion, are labelled and organized in such a way that goods/products are easy to locate
- Ensuring all food and non-foods are stored, labelled and rotated appropriately and to ensure fresh goods are used up in a specials to minimize waste
- Undertaking label and price checking of goods / products when instructed by management
- Working within the company’s health & safety policies and practices and report any hazards or incidences immediately
- Ensuring that the work area is clean, tidy and free from hazards
- Reporting all unsafe equipment and hazards to management
- Ensuring all fire exits and stairs are kept clear
- Actively promote a healthy, clean, safe, secure and productive working environment whilst working in the store
- Reports to the Kitchen Manager
Requirements
- Presentable, neat appearance and safety shoes
- Good personal hygiene
- Flexible working hours, evenings, weekends, statutory holidays
- Food handling certification (asset)
Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred
- Experience in the relevant field is an asset
- Good communication skills
- Good team working skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work unsupervised

- Experience in kitchen duties

- High level of food hygiene
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour
