Full-Time Position
Entry-Level — No Previous Restaurant Experience Required (BUT PREFFERED)
Luigi’s is looking for a dependable, hardworking person to join our restaurant as a Full-Time Kitchen Utility Team Member.
This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate, beginner, student with full-time availability, or anyone interested in learning how a busy restaurant operates. Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
This is an active, hands-on position. You will help keep the kitchen organized, clean, stocked, and ready to serve customers.
Main Responsibilities
Your daily responsibilities may include:
- Washing dishes, trays, utensils, containers, and kitchen equipment
- Keeping the dishwashing and cleaning areas organized
- Cutting and preparing vegetables
- Preparing and portioning pizza toppings
- Assisting with dough preparation
- Folding pizza boxes and preparing packaging
- Restocking ingredients, drinks, sauces, containers, and supplies
- Labeling and organizing prepared ingredients
- Cleaning counters, floors, shelves, equipment, and work areas
- Taking out garbage, recycling, and cardboard
- Helping package and organize customer orders
- Assisting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Completing opening, closing, and cleaning checklists
- Following food-safety and cleanliness procedures
- Helping wherever needed to keep the restaurant operating smoothly
You will receive training for each task. We do not expect you to know everything when you begin, but we expect you to listen, learn, improve, and complete tasks properly.

- Able to handle normal restaurant duties such as dishes, cleaning, food preparation, and restocking
Important
This is not a position where employees wait around for one specific task. Restaurant work requires teamwork. During busy periods, everyone helps where needed.
Applicants must be comfortable washing dishes, cleaning, preparing ingredients, and completing physical kitchen work. Please do not apply if you are only interested in cashier work, sitting at the front, or avoiding cleaning and preparation duties.
Experience
No previous experience is required.
Experience in restaurants, kitchens, fast food, grocery stores, food preparation, dishwashing, cleaning, or warehouse work is an asset, but full training will be provided.
Availability
Applicants should have:
- Full-time availability
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts
- Reliable transportation to and from the restaurant
- The ability to work consistently throughout the year
