Experienced Framing CarpenterJob Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter with a strong background in wood framing to join our team. This position is ideal for a highly skilled individual who takes pride in quality workmanship, works efficiently, and can work independently as well as part of a crew.
Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of framing experience. Candidates without extensive framing experience will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Wood framing for residential and/or commercial projects
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings
- Layout, measuring, cutting, and assembling framing materials
- Installing floors, walls, roofs, and structural components
- Ensuring work is completed safely and to high quality standards
- Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Working collaboratively with site supervisors and other trades
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on framing experience
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and building practices
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and performing demanding tasks
- Valid driver’s license preferred
