What will I be doing?
As a key member of our property operations team, you'll keep our portfolio of luxury homes running flawlessly - ensuring every guest arrives to a property that feels perfect.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests, homeowners, and internal teams, resolving issues efficiently and to a high standard.
- Handle a broad range of hands-on general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC troubleshooting.
- Perform regular property inspections and walkthroughs to get ahead of issues before they become problems.
- Conduct pre-arrival checks to ensure lighting, heating, appliances, and key home features are all guest-ready.
- Perform routine hot tub servicing and upkeep across our portfolio of homes.
- Support seasonal projects including winterization and summer readiness.
- Coordinate with external contractors when specialized work is required.
- Keep accurate records of work orders, completed tasks, and follow-ups.
- Maintain tools, supplies, and equipment in organized, working order.
- Work closely with our Dispatch, Coordinators, and Guest Services teams to deliver a seamless guest experience.
Our Ideal Candidate
- You're a hands-on problem-solver who takes pride in your work and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Someone who shows up ready to tackle anything and leaves every property better than they found it.
- Minimum of 2+ years in property maintenance, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, construction, or a similar trade-based role.
- Skilled across multiple trades including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry - and confident troubleshooting when things don't go to plan.
- A strong communicator who works well independently and collaborates seamlessly with a team.
- Detail-oriented and committed to high-quality workmanship on every job.
- Comfortable with digital work order systems and mobile communication tools.
- Familiar with Whistler and the surrounding area (an asset, but not required).
- Holds a valid BC driver's license.
- Flexible and available for evenings (to 8pm), weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
