Brandt is currently seeking a Labourer for our Clarimont Truck and Trailer location. This position is responsible for assisting in the heavy equipment/agriculture/truck & trailer service department. Duties will include, but are not limited to, cleaning heavy equipment/agriculture equipment/truck & trailer equipment and the shop, and working with technicians. The labourer will play a key role in assisting the other personnel fulfill their duties and increase overall shop productivity. This position is an entry point for someone interested in pursuing an apprenticeship.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Detailing heavy equipment/agriculture equipment/truck & trailer equipment once the repairs have been completed
- Maintaining the wash bay equipment and cleanliness of the wash bay
- Cleaning parts and components
- Cleaning and maintaining the yard and shop
- Assisting in the dismantling of heavy equipment and components
- Organizing equipment in the yard and maintaining dealership premises (grading, leveling snow removal)
- Some inventory maintenance
- Assisting the other shop personnel with fulfilling their duties and increase overall shop productivity
- Other duties as assigned

- Highly motivated individual who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of meeting the physical demands of the heavy duty equipment environment (ie: lifting up to 50 pounds)
- Capable of working under minimum amount of supervision
