Overview
Royal Scot Hotel & Suites, Trademark Collection by Wyndham, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a keen eye for cleanliness and detail. The Housekeeping Supervisor will ensure that all guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to maintain quality standards.
- Schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak times while optimizing labor costs.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment.
- Address guest requests and resolve any issues related to cleanliness or service promptly and professionally.
- Enforce health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments such as front desk and maintenance to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Maintain detailed records of housekeeping activities, inspections, and staff performance.
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial supervision within the hospitality industry.
- Strong background in cleaning procedures, including both general hospitality cleaning and industrial cleaning techniques.
- Previous experience in supervising or leading a team is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance processes.
- Familiarity with hotel operations, customer service excellence, and staff training is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
