Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support our dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Experience with dental software such as Epic and Dentrix, as well as familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics, is highly desirable. Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
- Manage patient records using Epic and Dentrix software systems
- Provide patient education on oral health, post-treatment care, and preventive practices
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries as a dental receptionist
- Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns during visits
- Maintain compliance with medical terminology standards and infection control procedures
Experience
- Prior experience in dental assisting is preferred, with knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry practices is advantageous
- Experience using dental management software such as Epic or Dentrix is a plus
- Basic understanding of CAD for digital imaging or restorations is beneficial
- Certification in dental assisting or related training programs is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential
Rémunération : 20,50$ à 29,00$ par heure
