Job Summary
Fiscally Responsible Solutions is hiring a part-time Business Development Representative to help identify, contact, and follow up with potential small business clients.
Fiscally Responsible Solutions provides bookkeeping, payroll, reporting, and back-office administrative support for small businesses, self-employed professionals, and founder-led companies.
This role is focused on lead research, outreach, follow-up, and helping book qualified introductory calls with potential clients.
Responsibilities
- Research potential small business clients
- Build and maintain a lead tracking spreadsheet
- Identify appropriate contacts and business information
- Send approved outreach messages
- Follow up with potential clients professionally
- Track responses, follow-up dates, and next steps
- Help book qualified introductory calls
- Provide weekly updates on outreach activity and results
Qualifications
- Experience in sales, business development, customer service, account coordination, or client-facing work
- Strong written communication skills
- Comfortable contacting business owners
- Organized and able to maintain accurate records
- Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and LinkedIn
- Reliable and professional
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Assets
- Experience with small business clients
- Experience selling or supporting professional services
- Familiarity with bookkeeping, payroll, administration, or back-office services
- Experience using CRM tools or lead tracking systems
Schedule
Part-time, approximately 5–10 hours per week. The schedule is flexible, with a regular weekly check-in.
Compensation
$35–$50 per hour, depending on experience. Plus bonus based on milestones.
