About the Role
As a Staff Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality client service across assurance and tax engagements. You’ll collaborate with a supportive team, gain exposure to diverse industries, and receive mentorship to help you achieve your CPA goals.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare compilation, review and audit engagements.
- Prepare corporate and personal tax returns.
- Maintain accurate working papers using Caseware and prepare tax returns in iFirm TaxPrep.
- Communicate with clients and provide timely updates.
- Contribute to process improvements and share best practices with the team.
What You Bring
- CPA designation in progress.
- Public accounting experience in compilations, reviews, audits, and tax preparation preferred.
- Knowledge of ASPE, ASNPO, Income Tax Act and Excise Act.
- Proficiency with Caseware, TaxPrep, and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with iFirm and Doc.it an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to client service.
