We are an established, family owned and operated entertainment venue that has proudly served Winnipeg for over 20 years and are looking for a dependable, energetic Assistant Manager to help lead our team.
This is a full-time, hands-on leadership position. You'll work alongside your team, oversee daily operations, support guests, and help ensure every customer has an outstanding experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support staff during daily operations
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns
- Open and close the facility
- Train, coach, and motivate team members
- Ensure safety standards, policies, and procedures are followed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
- Assist with daily operations and shift management
- Perform hands-on operational tasks as required
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently
- Positive attitude with a hands-on leadership style
- Reliable transportation
- Experience in hospitality, entertainment, recreation, or retail is an asset
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
Physical Requirements
- This is an active, hands-on position. Applicants should be comfortable:
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Frequently moving throughout the facility
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Performing physically demanding tasks when required
- Working in a fast-paced environment where managers lead by example
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Regular evening and weekend availability is required
- Typical schedules include either Friday & Saturday evenings or Saturday & Sunday evenings, together with weekday shifts
- For the right candidate, we are open to discussing a compressed four-day work week (40 hours over four days) where operationally feasible
