Reporting to the Senior Director, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning, Systems and Data, the Director of HR Systems & Data is the operational leader for people systems and data at Pomerleau. Against the backdrop of an ambitious strategic HR transformation, you will play a key role in the delivery of our roadmap with a strong focus on module or new feature roll-outs, continuous improvements and people analytics capabilities. Your role will encompass team leadership in a matrixed environment mainly composed of SMEs, program management, data governance and business influence and alignement. Most of all, you will deliver tangible results that elevate the Pomerleau employee lifecycle and experience nation-wide.
What you will do:
- Act the functional lead of SAP SuccessFactors and drive the execution of module deployements through the full cycle : business need identification, scoping, configuration, testing, readiness and launch and adoption;
- In partnership with the HR Program Lead from our Innovation & IT Team manage relationships with IT partners, integrators, vendors and other relevant stakeholders;
- Standardize processes and practices linked to the HRIS company-wide and across different user groups;
• • Lead through formal and informal leadership : your team works in a matrix environment of subject matter experts in HR, Systems, IT alongside external contributors;
- Develop your team’s capabilities in the following : systems, data, automation and AI as it pertains to HR.
- Establish and maintain the HR data quality standards ensuring its integrity, cleanliness and usability across corporate platforms;
- Ensure our data governance controls and mechanisms are embedded into our systems in compliance with required standards;
- Oversee the delivery of HR analytics to favor data led business decisions through reporting, dashboards, KPI definition and selection etc.
- Work with our HR systems maintenance and operations sub-team to align on defining urgency and prioritization levels to ensure consistency and a clear approach to problem-solving.
This role could be for you if you have:
- 12 years of experience with HR Systems (HRIS) & technology with an increasing complexity and ownership scope;
- 5 years or more of formal team leadership in a matrixed environment of SMEs, integrators and HR talent.
- Deep knowledge of SAP Success Factors – you have previously rolled out its modules successfully at a national scale;
- You have demonstrated experience delivering large-scale and complex deployments against an existing corporate technology transformation roadmap;
- Your prioritization and organizational skills are sharp – you know how to tune out the noise and focus on real priorities that create meaningful progress and allow your team to lift key deliverables;
- You excel at taking an end goal or long term vision and reverse engineering it into manageable milestones to ensure consistent progress;
- Namely, you can effectively partner with an HR Program Lead to define required ressources.
Nice to haves:
- You have experience contributing to a data governance model and understand how to apply it effectively to HR systems & technology;
- You are familiar with analytics and data visualisations tools (PowerBi, SAP Analytics) as well as best practices and standards for reporting;
- You’ve been part of a company in hypergrowth or a project based industry at some point in your career.
