We are seeking a friendly and organized Store Clerk to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, manage sales transactions efficiently, and maintain an organized store environment. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity
- Maintain product displays through merchandising and restocking to ensure attractive presentation
- Conduct product demos and upsell items to enhance customer experience and sales
- Provide knowledgeable assistance on product features, especially in technology sales and technical products
- Manage inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store environment
- Use effective communication skills to address customer inquiries via phone or in person
- Demonstrate time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Customer service-oriented attitude with a professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to operate POS systems and basic retail technology tools effectively
- Excellent organizational skills to manage stock, displays, and daily tasks efficiently
- Good time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities during shifts
- Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.85 per hour
