Maintenance Technician (Temporary to Permanent)
About Our Client
Our client is a leader in supplying fresh produce to the food and retail industries. This company is one of the most well-known food & beverage companies in the Burlington area primarily focusing on potatoes; from product grating, production, packing and distribution. The food you are working with is showcased in the very grocery stores you visit!
What You Will Be Doing, as a Maintenance Technician:
- Execute preventative maintenance program on equipment, building and machinery
- Conduct diagnostic checks, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment
- Install, align, take apart and move industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
- Other duties as assigned
What You Should Have, as a Maintenance Technician:
- Must have a minimum of 1 year experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be available full time (40+ hours)
- CSA Approved Safety Shoes/Boots
In Return, You Will Receive:
- $20.00 per hour
- Paid weekly, every Friday, 1 week later
- Lots of overtime available
- Opportunity for permanent hire
- 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it
- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends
The Shift You Will Be Working is:
- Monday to Friday
- Days: 7 am to 3:30pm
Where You Will Be Working:
- Clay Avenue & Sutton Drive (Burlington)
- May not be bus accessible to most
