Warehouse Supervisor
We are is seeking a hands-on, organized, and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations and oversee an upcoming warehouse relocation project. We are moving to a 7800 square foot warehouse.
We need someone who can hit the ground running and start immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, and organization. Supervising 4 employees
- Lead and coordinate the planning and execution of a warehouse move to a new facility.
- Develop efficient warehouse layouts and storage solutions to maximize space and workflow.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Train, schedule, and support warehouse staff.
- Ensure workplace safety standards and procedures are followed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts.
- Coordinate with management, suppliers, and carriers to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse supervisory or leadership experience.
- Valid forklift certification and demonstrated forklift operating experience an asset.
- Experience with warehouse relocations, facility setups, or large-scale organizational projects is considered a strong asset.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a warehouse environment.
- Experience with inventory management systems is an asset. Particularly bin locations.
- Experience with POS systems and Shipstation is an asset
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who can take ownership of our warehouse operations, help design and implement an efficient new warehouse layout, and lead our team through an exciting period of growth and transition. It may be intense for the first month or two but there will a bonus when the move is complete.
