Robby’s Group relies on smooth parts and service management to keep our shop running seamlessly. We are currently hiring an energetic Parts and Service Assistant to support our team in Sydney.
Position Overview
In this dynamic dual-support role, you will work directly alongside our Parts Manager and Service Writer. You will help manage inventory, assist walk-in customers, process orders, and handle local part deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Parts Manager with inventory software monitoring, receiving, labeling, and stocking parts.
- Help walk-in and phone customers identify, source, and purchase the correct parts.
- Support the Service Writer with appointment scheduling, order taking, service monitoring, and processing payments.
- Travel locally to pick up, return, or deliver parts to remote job sites when needed.
- Maintain accurate customer records, track transactions, and address customer questions promptly.
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license required.
- Core Competencies: Strong written and verbal communication, basic mathematical skills (for pricing/inventory), and active problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally loud environment.
- Assets: Prior experience in mechanic work, car sales, customer service, or heavy equipment parts identification.
Compensation & Benefits
- Wages: Determined based on experience.
