Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, loaders, graders, backhoes, and horizontal drilling machines with precision and safety awareness
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on all machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Assist in site preparation, grading, paving, and other construction activities according to project specifications
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members
- Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate equipment usage and project timelines
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment operation hours, maintenance activities, and site reports
- Support the setup and breakdown of construction sites by moving materials and clearing debris as needed
Skills
- Proven experience operating dozers, excavators, loaders, graders, backhoes, and other heavy machinery in a construction setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic repairs on equipment
- Ability to operate horizontal drilling equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices for heavy equipment operation
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and site supervisors

Pay: $40.00-$43.00 per hour
