Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Part Time DZ Driver to join our team for Sunday morning deliveries and Full Times Sunday through Friday. The ideal candidates will be responsible for transporting goods and materials, safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and excellent driving skills to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a straight truck (DZ)
- Ensure timely delivery of products
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify any maintenance issues or safety concerns.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, or team members regarding delivery schedules or issues.
Skills
- Proven experience in driving with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required for loading or unloading cargo.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure punctuality.
- Good communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients.
- 2 years DZ Experience
Rate of Pay: $22.00 per hour
Start time: Sunday @ 6 am or Sunday through Friday at 6 am
