Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator who takes pride in producing quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating sheet metal components and assisting with the production of utility truck bodies.
Responsibilities
- Operate press brake, shear, and other sheet metal fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret shop drawings and work orders.
- Measure, cut, bend, and fabricate aluminum and steel components.
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies.
Qualifications
- Previous sheet metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Experience operating press brakes and shears preferred.
- Ability to read measuring tools accurately (tape measure, calipers, squares).
- Ability to read blueprints is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
