Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, take food and beverage orders accurately, and serve with enthusiasm to enhance the dining experience
- Assist in food preparation and plating to support kitchen staff in delivering quality dishes efficiently
- Clear tables promptly, ensuring a clean and inviting environment for all guests
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including wiping down tables, sweeping floors, and resetting tables for new guests
- Properly wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards
- Support kitchen staff by handling food handling tasks safely and efficiently during busy service times
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both team members and guests
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; a passion for hospitality is a plus!
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to maintain hygiene standards in dining and kitchen areas
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and basic cooking or food preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous but not required; eagerness to learn is key!
- Willingness to take on diverse tasks including serving, dishwashing, and supporting kitchen operations
