Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong clerical skills, proficiency with office software, and experience in handling various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Maintain organized filing systems both electronically and physically, including document proofreading and record keeping
- Support bookkeeping activities such as invoicing and basic financial record management
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries via phone or email and ensuring excellent service standards
- Handle clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, faxing, and preparing correspondence
Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software
- Strong computer skills with the ability to perform data entry efficiently and accurately
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for proofreading and filing tasks
- Previous clerical or administrative experience preferred; experience in bookkeeping, data entry and inventory management systems.
- Exceptional customer service skills with ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong typing skills with high accuracy; ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of office procedures including filing systems, document management, and basic bookkeeping.
- Excellent understanding and comfort working within windows based programs.
- Social media, advertising planning and website online editing is also helpful.
This position is ideal for candidates who are proactive, dependable, self starters, eager to contribute to a well-organized office environment. Prior experience in office administration will be advantageous but is not mandatory.
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
