Minuteman Press – Red Deer is looking to expand our design and production department with an enthusiastic and productive individual!
Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a printing environment.
- Design Programs including INDD, AI, PS and Corel Draw.
Must be well organized and thrive in a busy environment, deadlines are part of the job as well as working on multiple projects and with multiple clients at any given time. We are looking for someone who is passionate about design and has excellent verbal and written skills. We are a team, and work as such - helping others when required and working together to solve any issues that may arise.
Experience as an Asset:
- Staff Management.
- Knowledge of data merges.
- Quoting experience in the print industry
- Knowledge of Fiery rips.
- File preparation for offset and digital presses.
- General knowledge of bindery and print workflow.
Responsibilities include:
- Customer interaction and communication- in person, phone and email
- Designing and preparing files for digital, offset and signage
- Mail merge preparation and organizing mailings.
- Maintaining deadlines and tracking multiple jobs.
