Swine Production Operator – full time employment
We are a family-run swine operation looking for a dedicated and reliable finishing barn operator to join our team! If you enjoy hands-on work, value quality animal care, and want to work in a professional farming environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily livestock feeding and general animal care of finishing hogs
- Maintain pig and feed inventory records
- Monitor, diagnose and treat livestock health issues
- Assist with loading/unloading pigs
- General barn and feed equipment maintenance
- Follow biosecurity protocols
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in swine production is preferred; however, training will be provided
- Familiarity with or willing to learn computer software feed systems
- Must be reliable, motivated, and comfortable working hands-on with animals
