Ronald Allan Clothiers Abbotsford is seeking a polished, service driven Senior Sales Associate to join our classic upscale men's and women's fashion team. This is a Full-time position in our Men's department for an experienced retail professional who excels in client service, consistently drives sales, and is ready to take on added assistant management responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional client service and personalized menswear styling.
- Build lasting client relationships and generate repeat business.
- Upsell additional items and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments.
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, restocking shelves, and ensuring the store remains visually appealing.
- Provide exceptional customer service through active listening, personalized recommendations, and addressing inquiries promptly.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and product organization.
- Utilize organizational skills to manage time effectively during busy periods and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries or follow-up calls from customers or vendors.
- Contribute to scheduling, task delegation, and smooth day-to-day execution in the managers absence.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of successful retail sales experience, preferably in upscale or specialty fashion.
- Proven ability to build clientele, close sales, and deliver a high standard of service.
- Knowledge of merchandising, POS systems, cashiering, and basic math for transaction accuracy.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Supervisory, keyholder, or assistant management experience preferred.
- Professional presentation and strong knowledge of fit, fabrics and styling.
- Experience with upselling techniques to enhance sales performance.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Available Tuesday to Saturday, 9:30-5:30. Closed Sundays, Mondays, and all statutory holidays.
