Personal Support Worker (PSW) – Home Visits

Compensation: Starting at $17.60 per hour

We are currently seeking a dedicated and flexible Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team. This unique role combines in-home client care with administrative/front desk responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
1. Personal Support & In-Home Care Duties:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
- Assist clients with meal preparation, feeding, and grocery planning if needed.
- Support with light housekeeping (e.g., laundry, tidying, dishes).
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and well-being.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide consistent care.
- Follow individualized care plans to support client independence and dignity.
Qualifications:
- Certified Personal Support Worker (PSW) from a recognized Ontario college/program.
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC).
- Proof of 2-step COVID-19 vaccination.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle (required).
- Able to travel to various client homes in the North Bay and surrounding areas.

- Demonstrated leadership and the ability to take initiative.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative attitude.
- Comfortable working independently in home settings.
- Flexible and proactive approach to changing responsibilities.
- Able to work with care coordinators and other healthcare professionals.
- Must provide successful professional references upon request.
Additional Information:
- This is a casual position with the potential to transition into a full-time role.
- Shifts and hours may vary depending on client needs and clinic workload.
- Compensation will be discussed during the interview process and is based on experience.
