Moxies is looking for a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is organized, driven, and committed to delivering exceptional food quality in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment. As a Chef de Partie, you will oversee a specific kitchen station, support junior team members, and ensure all dishes meet Moxies standards for presentation, consistency, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute menu items according to Moxies recipes and standards
- Manage and maintain a designated kitchen station efficiently during service
- Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation standards are consistently met
- Assist with prep, inventory management, and stock rotation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Support training and mentoring of line cooks and junior kitchen staff
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams during service
- Assist Sous Chefs and Executive Chefs with daily operations and special events
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Line Cook, or similar role in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Culinary diploma or formal training is considered an asset
