Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling pre-owned vehicles while delivering an exceptional customer experience and achieving individual sales targets. This role requires strong communication skills, relationship-building abilities, and a passion for automotive sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals and performance targets.
- Greet customers, assess their needs, and recommend suitable vehicles.
- Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives, highlighting features and benefits.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Present vehicle pricing, financing options, trade-in values, and aftermarket products.
- Prepare and complete all required sales documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate vehicle delivery and registration processes.
- Follow up with prospects, previous customers, and referrals to generate repeat and referral business.
- Utilize social media platforms and digital marketing strategies to generate leads and build personal brand awareness.
- Actively engage in business development activities, networking, and community outreach.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores at or above company standards.
- Keep work areas organized, professional, and compliant with dealership standards.
- Participate in ongoing sales, product, and compliance training.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
- Valid OMVIC License.
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of automotive sales experience.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Preferred:
- Strong social media presence and experience generating leads through platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Experience with CRM systems and digital lead management.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
