One of our clients is seeking a skilled Brake Press Setter / Operator to join their manufacturing team in Mississauga. This role is responsible for setting up and operating brake press machines to produce precise, high-quality metal components.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate brake press machines to produce quality metal parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Adjust machine settings for different materials and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Document production activities and report any issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Brake Press Operator or Setter.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
