Our client, an education company, is hiring a part-time Online Workshop Facilitator for the upcoming 2026/27 academic school year to lead engaging virtual workshops for high school students.
This role is ideal for energetic and engaging facilitators who enjoy working with youth and creating meaningful group learning experiences that build confidence, communication skills, collaboration, leadership capacity, and personal growth in a supportive online environment.
Workshops will be delivered in an interactive online cohort format. Applicants may come from a variety of backgrounds including:
- Journalism, communications and media
- Theatre and performing arts
- Education, teaching and learning
- Coaching and youth development
- Business and leadership
- Psychology or social sciences
Position Details
- Part-time remote/online position
- Approximately 4-10 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling, including after-school evenings and occasional weekends
- Competitive compensation starting at approximately $25-30/hour based on experience

What You’ll Do
- Facilitate engaging small-group online workshops for high school students
- Deliver workshop content and activities provided by the organization
- Create a positive, inclusive, and highly interactive virtual learning environment
- Encourage participation, collaboration, discussion, and student confidence
- Utilize online tools such as Zoom, digital whiteboards, breakout rooms, and collaborative platforms to enhance student participation and engagement
- Adapt facilitation approaches to support varying student personalities, learning styles, and comfort levels
- Provide feedback to support continuous improvement of workshop experiences
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience facilitating group workshops, coaching, mentoring, teaching, or leading youth programs in a collaborative setting
- Previous experience delivering online/virtual sessions is required
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Energetic, engaging, and confident group facilitator
- Ability to connect authentically with high school students
- Comfortable with learning new content quickly and using lesson plans
- Pursuing or have completed a degree in Journalism, Communications, Theatre, Education, Psychology, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Experience supporting students with anxiety, learning differences, ADHD, or diverse learning needs is considered an asset
