We’re looking for an experienced Journeyman Automotive Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and can handle a wide range of repairs, including engine and transmission rebuilds.
Position Overview
We are hiring a skilled Journeyman Technician with strong experience in diagnostics, engine work, and transmission rebuilding. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle issues
- Perform complete engine rebuilds and major motor repairs
- Remove, repair, and rebuild transmissions
- Complete inspections, maintenance, and general automotive repairs
- Perform brake, suspension, steering, and driveline work
- Keep work areas organized and maintain high-quality workmanship
- Communicate clearly with management regarding repairs and timelines
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman Automotive Technician certification
- Strong experience rebuilding engines and transmissions
- Own tools preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude
