Position Overview
The Project Analyst will support a portfolio of projects spanning technical, commercial, and strategic initiatives. This role is ideal for an early-career professional who enjoys working across disciplines, learning new industries, and helping drive projects forward.
The successful candidate will contribute to project evaluation, research, stakeholder engagement, market analysis, and project coordination activities while working closely with senior team members and external partners around the world.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical and scientific reviews of projects, technologies, and business opportunities.
- Perform literature reviews and summarize scientific, technical, regulatory, and market information.
- Support project due diligence activities, including technical, commercial, and operational assessments.
- Coordinate project activities, timelines, meetings, and action items across multiple stakeholders.
- Prepare reports, presentations, briefing notes, and project documentation.
- Conduct market research and competitive analyses across multiple industries and geographies.
- Support stakeholder communications with clients, partners, investors, and project teams.
- Assist in developing business cases, strategic recommendations, and project execution plans.
- Track project progress and support internal reporting processes.
- Contribute to special projects and new business initiatives as required.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Academic background must include both technical and business disciplines:
- One discipline may be completed as a major and the other as a formal minor; or
- Business experience may be demonstrated through meaningful entrepreneurial or business-building experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of professional work experience.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Experience working with Claude, ChatGPT, agent/subagent systems, dynamic workflows, etc.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business productivity tools.
Preferred
- Experience supporting projects in agriculture, energy, health, sustainability, infrastructure, or technology sectors.
- Exposure to project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience conducting technical, scientific, or commercial research.
- Experience working in consulting, project development, investment, engineering, or entrepreneurial environments.

This position is based in Calgary, Alberta, with occasional domestic and international travel of up to 20%.
