Ambassador Dearie HVAC is looking for an energetic person to perform Heat and AC Final inspections on newly constructed homes. The successful candidate will ensure every HVAC is functioning and ready for homeowner possession. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work in the HVAC industry and being the final quality checkpoint before a home is delivered. Training is provided, including shadowing experienced technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and secure grills, registers throughout the home
- Install and test thermostats (smart and standard)
- Verify proper operation of furnace
- Test air conditioning systems
- Perform final walkthrough of HVAC components
- Document all work completed and report deficiencies
- Communicate professionally with site supervisors and other trades
Requirements:
- Experience in HVAC, construction, or mechanical trades is an asset but not required
- Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools
- Comfortable working independently and in new‑build environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Valid Full G driver’s license and Clean Driver's abstract
- Criminal Background Check
