Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational tasks across our project sites, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, eager to learn, and committed to contributing to the success of our projects.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Prepare work areas by cleaning and organizing tools and supplies
- Support skilled tradespeople with basic tasks as needed
- Perform general site cleanup to maintain safety standards
- Transport materials within the work site using appropriate equipment
- Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents immediately
- Assist in setting up temporary structures or barriers as required
Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour tasks
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a construction or industrial environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks
- Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or similar fields is a plus but not required
