Overview
We are seeking an experienced polyurethane caulker to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caulking, utilizing hand tools, and working within construction environments. This role involves precise application of polyurethane sealants to ensure the integrity and durability of building structures. Candidates should be comfortable working independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines. Responsibilities
- Apply polyurethane caulking accurately along joints, seams, and surfaces in accordance with project specifications
- Use hand tools such as caulking guns, trowels, and scrapers to prepare surfaces and apply sealants effectively.
- Prepare work areas by cleaning surfaces and ensuring proper adhesion of sealants
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with other construction team members to complete projects on time and up to quality standards
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times during work activities
Requirements
- Proven experience as a polyurethane caulker in construction or related fields
- Proficiency in caulking techniques and familiarity with hand tools used in sealing applications
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in applying sealants
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting materials, and working at heights if necessary
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license are preferred for job site access
