Jim Gauthier Kia is growing again and we are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Front Counter Consultant to join our Parts Department. If you have strong automotive parts knowledge, enjoy helping customers, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
✔ Assist retail, wholesale, and service customers with parts inquiries and purchases
✔ Identify and source the correct parts using electronic catalogues and manufacturer resources
✔ Process customer orders, invoices, quotes, and payments accurately
✔ Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers
✔ Respond to phone, email, and online parts inquiries promptly and professionally
✔ Coordinate parts orders and deliveries with customers and vendors
✔ Recommend companion parts and accessories when appropriate
✔ Maintain accurate inventory and assist with stocking as required
✔ Deliver exceptional customer service with every interaction
What We're Looking For
✔ Previous automotive parts experience is preferred
✔ Strong knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle applications
✔ Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds, Auto PartsBridge, RepairLink, and other wholesale ordering platforms are preferred
✔ Competent computer, communication, and organizational skills
✔ Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
✔ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
✔ Positive attitude with a customer-first mindset
✔ Franchise dealership experience is considered an asset
Physical Requirements
✔ Lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
✔ Frequent standing, walking, bending, and movement throughout the workday
