About the Role:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative (ISR) plays a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting the sales team throughout the entire sales and project lifecycle.
Working closely with Account Managers, the ISR serves as a primary point of contact for customers including specifiers, distributors, contractors, electricians, and end users. This role is responsible for supporting projects from the design stage through product selection, budget pricing, order processing, project coordination, product delivery, and after-sales service.
Success in this position is built on strong relationships, technical knowledge, and a genuine commitment to helping customers succeed. The successful candidate will become a trusted resource by providing responsive service, accurate information, proactive communication, and practical solutions while developing expertise across our growing portfolio of lighting, lighting controls, and electrical products.

As an integral member of our sales organization, the ISR will work collaboratively with Account Managers, Customer Service, Project Coordination, Finance, Operations, and our manufacturer partners to ensure every customer interaction reflects our commitment to professionalism, service excellence, and long-term relationships.
What you’ll do:
- Partner with Account Managers, Customer Service, Project Coordination, Finance, and vendor partners to ensure projects are executed accurately, efficiently, and with a customer-first mindset.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal team members based on trust, professionalism, and mutual respect.
- Support the Customer Service team as required to deliver a consistent and seamless customer experience.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge of the company's lighting, lighting controls, and electrical product portfolio through ongoing training and manufacturer engagement.
- Demonstrate ownership by proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes, customer service, and overall team effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, contract administration, and risk management practices.
- Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment that values communication, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
