We are not simply a lead-generation service. MEINHAUS works directly with homeowners to develop the project scope, coordinate the customer, organize the work and assign approved projects to qualified professionals.
Our goal is to help skilled contractors spend less time chasing leads, preparing unpaid estimates and managing sales conversations—and more time completing profitable renovation work.
The Opportunity
We are currently registering experienced home renovators, general contractors and multi-trade professionals for upcoming residential projects.
Projects may include:
- Bathroom and kitchen renovations
- Basement finishing
- Drywall, framing and painting
- Flooring and tile installation
- Carpentry and finish work
- Decks, fences and exterior renovations
- Roofing, siding, soffit, fascia and eavestrough
- Doors and windows
- General repairs and property improvements
- Full-service residential renovations
Professionals may apply for projects that match their location, experience, availability and trade qualifications. You are not required to accept every assignment.
How MEINHAUS Works
MEINHAUS provides the professional with a written project scope, available project information, expected schedule and proposed fulfilment compensation.
Once assigned, the professional is responsible for completing the approved work safely, professionally and according to the written scope.
Depending on the project, materials may be supplied by MEINHAUS, supplied by the customer or included within the professional’s assignment. Material responsibilities will always be identified before the project is accepted.
MEINHAUS manages the customer relationship, project administration and payment process, allowing the professional to focus on successful project completion.

What We Are Looking For
The ideal professional has:
- Experience completing residential renovations
- Strong workmanship and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation
- Appropriate tools and equipment
- The ability to provide accurate project updates
- Professional communication with homeowners and project managers
- A commitment to job-site safety and cleanliness
- The ability to provide before, progress and completion photographs
- A willingness to follow written scopes, schedules and payment terms
- The ability to work independently or provide a properly staffed crew
Applicants with experience across multiple renovation trades are strongly encouraged to register.
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered business or self-employed contractor
- Commercial general liability insurance
- Workers’ compensation coverage or applicable clearance documentation
- Trade licences where legally required
- Previous project photographs or portfolio
- Customer references
- Experience managing residential renovation projects from demolition through completion

This is an independent contractor opportunity and not a guaranteed hourly employment position.
Projects are offered based on location, trade category, availability, qualifications, verification status, past performance and the requirements of each customer assignment.
Professionals remain responsible for their own business operations, taxes, insurance, transportation, tools, workers and trade licensing unless otherwise stated in a specific project agreement.
