Job Summary:
We are seeking a Medical Assistant Editor, AI Content & Fact-Checking to review, edit, and verify AI-assisted medical content for accuracy, clarity, and readability. In this role, you will work closely with the Medical Director and Marketing Manager to ensure all content is medically accurate, patient-friendly, and aligned with the clinic's brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and proofread AI-assisted medical content for grammar, clarity, and tone.
- Humanize content to ensure it reads naturally and is easy for patients to understand.
- Fact-check medical information using reliable, evidence-based sources.
- Correct inaccuracies and ensure content meets editorial and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and Marketing Manager on website content, blogs, patient education materials, newsletters, and social media.
- Stay current with medical terminology and clinical best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Life Sciences, Public Health, or a related healthcare field.
- Excellent editing, proofreading, and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and research skills.
- Ability to verify medical information using reputable sources.
Preferred
- Experience editing or fact-checking healthcare or medical content.
- Familiarity with AI writing tools and AI-assisted content workflows.
Quality Assurance
- All content will undergo AI content detection and editorial quality checks before publication. The successful candidate is expected to produce accurate, original, and natural-sounding content that meets the clinic's editorial standards.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
