We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials and equipment to various job sites. This is a crucial role in our organization, as you will ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods.
Duties:
- Safely operate trucks to transport materials and equipment to designated locations
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, such as loaders or cranes
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Communicate with dispatchers and team members to coordinate delivery schedules
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and inspection reports
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols
Skills:
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment, such as loaders or cranes
- Knowledge of concrete forming, paving, and installation processes
- Experience with concrete pumping and mixing
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles
- Ability to read maps and follow directions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in paperwork
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a truck driver
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
