We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Handle food with proper hygiene practices, including knife skills and food handling procedures
- Assist with meal preparation for catering events or special functions as needed
- Serve customers with professionalism and ensure their dining experience meets quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service, preferably in fine dining or the food industry
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling techniques
- Experience with menu planning, catering, or meal preparation is a plus
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food handling and cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is advantageous but not required
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
