Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pizza Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering hot, fresh pizzas to customers in a timely manner while providing excellent service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be comfortable with moving and heavy lifting, and have experience in commercial driving or warehouse operations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport orders to customers within designated areas
- Ensure orders are accurate and complete before delivery
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries
- Handle cash or card transactions when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during deliveries
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery status or issues
- Assist with moving supplies or inventory within the restaurant or warehouse as needed
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical movement of items such as boxes or food containers
- Experience with warehouse operations, forklift operation, or moving equipment is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Prior customer service experience is desirable
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation to ensure timely deliveries
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods during shifts
