Position Overview
We’re looking for an enthusiastic STEM Instructor to join our Richmond Hill campus. The role focuses on coding, robotics, and 3D design instruction for students aged 4–18, using project-based learning to spark creativity and critical thinking.
Schedule (In-Person):
- Monday to Friday: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
This is a part-time role ($26–$40 per hour). Exceptional candidates may be considered for full-time employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach STEM-focused courses, including:
- Python, Scratch, Java, C++, Unity, Godot
- Robotics design and programming
- Programming competition prep (CCC, ACSL)
- Use project-based learning to encourage problem-solving, logical thinking, and creativity.
- Maintain an orderly, safe classroom while implementing school policies.
- Track and assess student progress; provide timely feedback to parents and management.
- Research, design, and document new course material as required.
Qualifications
- Academic background or professional experience in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience teaching programming competitions (CCC, ACSL).
- Passion for education and proven ability to motivate children and teens.
- Previous experience in robotics design or software development is a strong asset.
