Job Description
Reporting to the Feed Division Director, this position is responsible for accurately preparing custom feed orders by following established formulas and recipes. This role also involves loading and unloading trucks, performing preventative maintenance tasks, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare custom feed orders by following established formulas and recipes.
Operate and monitor computerized and manual production systems.
Load and unload delivery trucks.
Receive and store raw materials and products according to established procedures.
Maintain and monitor inventory levels.
Identify and resolve minor equipment issues and perform basic repairs as required.
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance tasks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all health and safety policies, procedures, and standards.
Perform other related duties as required to support the operation of the division.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience in manufacturing of feed/food production is considered an asset.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production equipment.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work in varying temperatures throughout the year.
Ability to lift up to 25 kg (50 lbs)
Bilingualism in French and English.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of quality and precision.
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
