Job Overview:
We are seeking dynamic, friendly and outgoing individuals to join our team as Server, Food Runners or Bussers our restaurant at 2535 Appleby Line, Burlington, Ontario.
As part of our team, you will providing exceptional hospitality to all our guests. Attention to details, ability to multi-task, being organized, an effective and eloquent communicator and being a team player are all musts. Candidates with previous full-service (sit-down dining) hospitality experience will be given preference but personality, passion and work ethic will be taken into consideration.
Responsibilities
- Courteously and professional interact with our guests to ensure a premium dining experience.
- Accurately and in a timely manner take guest orders and enter them into the Point of Sale system.
- Oversee the entire dining experience for all our guests being intuitive and ensuring their dining needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Assist in delivering food and beverages to guests promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations.
- Support servers by clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs and inquiries.
- Effectively and politely communicate with guests and fellow team members.
- Collaborate with expeditor and host teams to facilitate smooth service operations.
- Learn an extensive menu.
Qualifications
- Previous hospitality experience preferred but not required; positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills are essential.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively as part of a team.
- Must be able to reliably commute to our Burlington location. Please confirm transportation availability for weekend shifts.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Hours and Compensation
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available. All applicants must have a valid social insurance number and be authorized to work in Canada.
