About the job
Reporting to the Digital Insurance Lead, the Personal Lines Insurance Advisor is accountable for delivering superior client service that promotes new business and client retention while maximizing cross sell opportunities.
Key Accountabilities
- Analyzing client coverages and exposures to provide expert advice.
- Proactively contacting insurance companies regarding renewal.
- Consistently providing a high level of customer service in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.
- Efficiently and accurately underwriting new and renewal business according to Stratis or program guidelines.
- Processing policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations by established office procedures and best practices.
- Completing the binding, invoicing, premium collection, and file documentation of assigned accounts.
Education & Requirements
- Level 2 Insurance License in BC
- Working towards completion of CIP considered an asset
Experience
- Experience with Personal Lines insurance (home, condo, tenant)
- Client sales and retention experience
- Business development
- Experience with Commercial Lines insurance considered an asset

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $52,000 + Commissions. Your salary will be determined based on your individual qualifications and experience while considering internal equity.
