Overview:
NorCan Roofing & Exteriors Inc. is expanding and looking for experienced Siding & Aluminum Installers to join our team. We complete residential and commercial exterior projects throughout Muskoka and surrounding communities.
The ideal candidate will have experience installing siding and exterior aluminum products, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality workmanship and jobsite safety. This position offers stable, year-round employment with opportunities for advancement within a growing company.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install vinyl, engineered wood, aluminum, composite, and wood siding systems.
- Install soffit, fascia, eavestrough, downspouts, and other exterior aluminum products.
- Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and manufacturer installation specifications.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and other jobsite equipment.
- Apply proper flashing, sealing, and caulking techniques to ensure weather-tight installations.
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, and general carpentry as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies, manufacturer requirements, and applicable building code standards.
- Work efficiently with crew members to complete projects on schedule while maintaining quality standards.
- Perform other duties related to exterior construction and installation as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience installing siding and exterior aluminum products is preferred.
- Knowledge of exterior cladding systems, flashing details, and finishing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workmanship quality.
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying construction materials throughout the workday.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Working at Heights certification is considered an asset (training/cert can be provided).
- Valid driver's license is considered an asset.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Service Areas
Projects are located throughout Muskoka and surrounding communities, including Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Huntsville, Parry Sound, Orillia, Midland, Barrie, and Haliburton. Travel between job sites is required, and travel time is compensated.
Our main shop is located in Bracebridge, Ontario. Applicants without a vehicle may still be considered if they can arrange reliable transportation to and from the shop each workday.
