The Home Share Coordinator is responsible for achieving the objectives of the Home
Share services, including: recruiting, screening, and selecting potential home share
providers; ongoing support and monitoring of existing home share providers; and
supporting the individuals in home share placements. The Home Share Coordinator
must be familiar with and in compliance with Community Living BC standards and
Building Bridges Community Support Policies and Procedures relating to home share.
Detailed records must be maintained using ShareVision and BrightHR.
Primary Duties:
- Proactively recruit potential home share providers to ensure a sufficient availability of placements for incoming referrals.
- Manage the screening and selection process for applicants to become home share providers in consultation with the Director.
- Oversee a caseload of current home share providers, ensuring compliance with CLBC home sharing standards and BBCS Policies and Procedures.
- Schedule and implement quarterly monitoring visits with the home share providers and the individuals in their homes.
- Maintain organized, detailed, and confidential records.
- Ensure that all documentation related to the home share providers are maintained and updated as required.
- Serve as a resource for individuals and home share providers, offering support and assistance with problem-solving.

Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in a related field such as Social Services, Human Services, or an equivalent area of study.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with individuals with diverse abilities with at least 1 year working in home share
- Community Living Home Study Certification for Shared Living (adults)
- First Aid
- Crisis Intervention (SIVA preferred)
- Criminal Record Check
- Valid Unrestricted Class 5 BC Driver’s license Driver’s abstract
- Your own reliable vehicle
- Business insurance for vehicle, including $3,000,000 third party liability
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.48-$31.24 per hour
Expected hours: 12 per week
